A request has been received by the Hackney Carriage Trade to increase the Hackney Carriage Fare that Local Taxi’s can charge on their taxi meter. The increase is sought because of the increased costs associated with running a taxi, particularly the increased cost of fuel.

Directors of Public Health in England have a statutory duty to write an Annual Public Health Report to demonstrate the state of health within their communities.

The Council’s current Statement of Community Involvement was published in 2015 and now requires updating. This is to reflect changes in national legislation, incorporate the Council’s new Collaborative Communities Framework and to respond to exceptional circumstances that have implications to consultation.
