Jackie Hinchliffe, Director of HR, OD and Transformation, presented the report that made a recommendation to enhance the pay provision for adoption leave in order for this to match the existing enhanced occupational maternity pay provision.

 

There were no comments or questions from Members.

 

RESOLVED

 

That the General Services Committee supported the proposal to enhance adoption leave pay to align with existing maternity leave provision.

Long-list for the Appointment of the Assistant Director of Legal and Monitoring Officer

Exclusion of the Public and Press

 

Members agreed that, in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act, 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business, on the grounds that they could involve the possible disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph1 (Information relating to any individual) of Schedule 12A of that Act.

 

 

RESOLVED that:

 

1.         10 candidates would progress onto the next stage for the Assistant Director of Legal and Monitoring Officer

 

2.         5 candidates would progress onto the next stage for Director of Place.
