Thurrock Children's Trust Partnership Board

Description

This is a local partnership that brings together the organisations responsible for services for children, young people and families, with the shared aim to improve children's lives.

Our children's services work closely with local agencies such as:

·         strategic health authorities

·         police authorities

·         local probation boards

·         youth offending teams

·         youth service

·         local colleges

The partnership also works with schools, the dioceses and voluntary, charity and faith organisations, as well as other council services like adult social care and housing.

The term 'Children's Partnership' applies to the whole system of children's services, covering the work of partners at every level, from the development of the overall strategy to the delivery of frontline services. It is not a separate organisation. Each partner agency retains its own responsibilities while working together.
