Groundwork Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk (Groundwork ESN) is a charity which delivers a wide range of projects covering business services, getting young people into work, improving open spaces, supporting communities and encouraging healthier lifestyles.

We focus our activity on disadvantaged communities where we can make most difference. We work with local communities, not for them.  It’s about involving people in the regeneration process in such a way that they can take the lead for themselves.

We know that the important issues are all connected – so our work can’t easily be placed in boxes marked environment issues, regeneration, employment or health.  We create projects and services that benefit both people and the wider environment.

Groundwork ESN delivers bespoke projects that use the environment as a catalyst for building a more sustainable future and helping improve the quality of people's lives, their prospects and potential and the places where they live, work and play.
